Discover the nature, the bastides, the caves of Lascaux

What is there to do?

The different seasons in the Dordogne... each have their own charm. The very soft spring, the delicious warm summers, and especially the fall (Indian Summer) with its many golden yellow colors. In the area you can spend hours walking and cycling all year long ...

The Dordogne, also known as the Périgord, is world famous because of its many prehistoric sights, such as the Lascaux caves, Font de Gaumes and the great National Museum of Prehistory in Les Eyzies. But also later, many sights have left behind: the bastides, such as Monpazier and Domme, the many castles such as Château de Biron, Château Castelnaud or Château de Beynac, as well as medieval towns such as Sarlat, Bergerac (both 45 car- Minutes from Monpazier removed) and Beynac.

The Périgord is also the place for you if you appreciate a good meal accompanied by tasty wines. Nowhere in France is the kitchen so exuberant. The Périgord offers virtually all ingredients for true life-lovers: goose liver, truffles, duck, trout, quail and wildlife.
